Job summary

ATL is looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to join our warehouse operations. You will safeguard stock accuracy, maintain clean data in inventory systems, and ensure efficient warehouse processes across cycles and year-end counts.

You will work with warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies, optimise stock layouts, and generate reports that support operational decisions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in Warehouse Operations.
• Proficiency in inventory software, warehouse systems (Blue Yonder / SAP).
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Proven experience managing year end stock takes and managing inventory differences.
• Must be proficient in MS Office and other specified software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Conduct regular stock counts, including cycle counts and full inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Lead and organise year end stocktake.
• Update inventory management systems with incoming and outgoing stock details.
• Maintain accurate records of returns and transfers.
• Generate inventory-related reports for management review.
• Analyse inventory trends to forecast demand and identify slow-moving items.
• Generate empty locations according to inbound plan.
• Ensure inventory turnover meets organizational standards.
• Work closely with warehouse staff to organise storage for efficient space utilisation.
• Ensure proper labelling and storage of items for easy identification and access.
• Monitor goods' quality and condition, taking action on damaged or expired items.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations regarding inventory handling.
• Use inventory management software and warehouse technology for tracking and analysis.
• Recommend improvements to inventory systems and processes.
