Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Rushden is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage goods receipt, stock accuracy, and cycle counts within our warehouse operations.

You will ensure data integrity in the WMS, investigate stock discrepancies, and support compliance with audit criteria, while adapting to rotating shifts and UK supply chain processes.

Qualifications

• Inventory experience is required.
• Understanding of UK supply chain.
• Experience working in a matrix organisation with complex processes.
• Ability to follow work instructions/safety rules.
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Receipt of goods inwards onto WMS.
• Receipt of returns onto WMS.
• Maintain accurate stock figures by cycle counts.
• Ensure stock figures reflected in WMS.
• Analyse and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Ensure warehouse remains compliant with audit criteria.

Job description

Salary: £ 30,299.00

Grade: RCS O grade
Contract Type: 3 Months FTC / Secondment

Shift patterns: Any 5 days from 7 on a rotating basis, working consecutive days and alternating between 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 shifts. Flexibility to work both shift patterns is essential.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Accurate and timely receipt of goods inwards onto WMS system.
• Accurate and timely receipt of returns onto WMS system.
• Maintain accurate stock figures by cycle counts of product.
• Ensure accurate stock figures are reflected in WMS.
• Analyse and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Ensure the warehouse remains compliant with relevant audit criteria.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Have Inventory Experience.
• Have an Understanding of Supply Chain in the UK.
• Have experience of working in a matrix organisation with complex processes and procedures.
• Have the ability to follow work instructions / procedures and safety rules.
• Have good analytical and numeracy skills.
