Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring an Inventory Clerk for a new ecommerce operation based in Derby (DE21 7HW). The role is permanent and full-time, with earlies/lates and night shifts across 5 days from 7.

The package includes a 15% night shift premium and a salary band around the posted figures. Join a brand-new site launching January 2026, with a large distribution centre, modern facilities, and opportunities to grow within a leading logistics provider.

Qualifications

• Previous inventory, stock control, or stock integrity experience within a warehouse environment.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Confident investigating stock discrepancies and identifying root causes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock accuracy across the distribution centre through cycle counting and stock investigations.
• Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies to ensure system and physical stock alignment.
• Support warehouse operations through stock movements, transfers, and WMS updates.
• Investigate nil picks and report findings.
• Work safely and follow all DHL health and safety procedures.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
