Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Derby is seeking an experienced Inventory Clerk to join a brand-new, highly automated ecommerce distribution centre launching January 2026. The role offers a permanent, full-time position within a landmark 514,000 sq ft site serving leading retail brands.

You will maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, support stock movements and WMS updates, and follow DHL health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous inventory, stock control, or stock integrity experience within a warehouse environment.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and stock reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock accuracy across the distribution centre through cycle counting and stock investigations.
• Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies to ensure system and physical stock alignment.
• Support warehouse operations through stock movements, transfers, and WMS updates.
• Investigate nil picks and report findings.
• Work safely and follow all DHL health and safety procedures.
