Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Coventry is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain stock integrity, perform cycle counts and support a busy warehouse operation.

A successful candidate will have experience in inventory, stock control or warehouse administration, plus strong attention to detail. You will use WMS, Excel and Outlook, and work within a team to ensure accurate inventory across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory, stock control or warehouse administration.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable following established processes and using computer systems (WMS, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cycle counts and stock checks per schedule.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain stock accuracy across the operation.
• Record and analyse inventory data using WMS and MS Office.
• Identify and report inventory issues to support continuous improvement.

Join DHL Supply Chain as an Inventory Clerk in Coventry, where you'll play a key role in maintaining stock integrity, carrying out cycle counts, and supporting the smooth operation of a busy warehouse environment.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Performing regular cycle counts and stock checks in line with operational schedules.
• Investigating stock discrepancies and escalating issues where required.
• Working closely with the wider inventory team to maintain stock accuracy across the operation.
• Using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications to record and analyse inventory data.
• Supporting continuous improvement by identifying and reporting inventory-related issues in a timely manner.

• Have previous experience in an inventory, stock control, warehouse administration, or similar environment.
• Possess excellent attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high levels of accuracy.
• Enjoy routine-based work and are comfortable following established processes.
• Confident using computer systems, including WMS platforms, Excel and Outlook.
• Work well as part of a team and can communicate effectively when resolving stock-related issues.
