Job summary

Serco seeks an Interventions Administrator at HMP Ashfield in Bristol to provide essential administrative support for the Interventions and Psychology function, helping deliver accredited programmes that aid rehabilitation and reduce reoffending.

You will maintain records, support programme delivery, and manage information to create a safe, secure environment where rehabilitation can thrive. This role offers purpose and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain local and national databases with up-to-date records for new arrivals and departures.
  • Prepare information for Sentence Planning Reviews with complete prisoner files.
  • Record and maintain contact logs, emails, and case information in NOMIS and other systems.
  • Manage prisoner files in line with data protection requirements and timescales.
  • Support Post Programme Reviews by arranging meetings, recording minutes, and distributing reports.
  • Produce regular audits and reports to support quality assurance.

Salary: £26,510 per annum plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week

As an Interventions Administrator in our HMP Ashfield team, you'll provide essential administrative support to the Interventions and Psychology function, helping to deliver accredited programmes that support rehabilitation and reduce reoffending. Your work will help ensure prisoners are prepared for a successful return to their communities.

What You'll Do As An Interventions Administrator
  • Maintain local and national databases, ensuring records for new arrivals and departures are accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare information and documentation for Sentence Planning Reviews, ensuring prisoner files contain all required information.
  • Record and maintain contact logs, emails, and case information in relevant systems, including NOMIS.
  • Manage prisoner files in accordance with data protection requirements and established timelines.
  • Support Post Programme Reviews by arranging meetings, recording minutes, and distributing reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Produce regular audits and reports to support quality assurance and continuous improvement within the department.
Does this sound like you?
  • Experience working in a busy administrative environment.
  • Recent experience of taking accurate meeting minutes.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Confidence working with data and maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, alongside strong written and verbal communication skills.

Vetting And Checks

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
