Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior experience in acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-call commitment is essential to provide cover for emergency admissions.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of evidence-based nursing care for a group of patients.
• Assist in management and organisation of a ward/clinical area.
• Act as a clinical and professional role model, mentoring and supporting students on placement.
• Contribute to high standards of quality nursing care.
• Collaborate with team to meet patient and family needs.
