Job summary

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Cardiologist with a special interest in Coronary Intervention to join our Cardiology Department. You will contribute to interventional cardiology services, and support outpatient and inpatient care across multiple hospital sites within the trust.

Qualifications

• Consultant-level cardiologist with a focus on coronary intervention.
• Experience delivering interventional cardiology services within an NHS or similar setting.
• Commitment to multidisciplinary team working and patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-led care for patients with coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular conditions.
• Undertake coronary intervention procedures within an established interventional cardiology service.
• Participate in elective and emergency cardiology services.
• Contribute to inpatient and outpatient cardiology activity.
• Support service development, quality improvement and innovation within the department.
• Participate in departmental teaching, education and clinical governance activities.
