Job summary
Recruit 121 (Finance, Technology & Executive) in Cardiff City Centre is hiring a Business Development Executive to own international growth. You will identify markets from scratch, build opportunities, and close new franchise and commercial partnerships with an emphasis on SaaS/tech solutions.
The role is 100% onsite in Cardiff, with time-zone aware calls to global markets and occasional international travel.
Qualifications
- Genuine outbound new-business success with numbers to prove it
- Experience building a sales pipeline or territory from scratch
- Strong prospecting skills to identify ICP and prioritize accounts
- Experience selling SaaS, technology, platforms, marketplaces or solution-led propositions
- International sales exposure – overseas markets or trade shows
- Proven ability to beat targets and accelerate ramp-up in previous roles
Responsibilities
- Identify new markets, target companies and opportunities
- Build prospect lists and account strategy for international growth
- High-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn and meetings
- Open conversations with prospects who don’t know you yet
- Understand challenges and sell a technology/platform solution
- Manage full sales cycle from first contact to signed agreement
- Negotiate and close new franchises and commercial partnerships
- Build and manage a strong outbound pipeline and represent at trade shows
