Job summary

Rubix UK&I in Falkirk is seeking a customer-facing Sales Office professional to join the frontline of our industrial distribution business. You will help customers, suppliers and internal teams by delivering reliable service and accurate processing of orders and quotations.

Responsibilities include initiating and maintaining relationships, establishing customer requirements, following up quotations, order processing and providing basic technical support.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a proactive mindset.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a business.
• Administrative skills and confidence using Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of a similar industry is preferable but not essential.
• Experience within a sales environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiating, developing, and maintaining customer relationships.
• Establishing customer requirements.
• Preparing, submitting, and following up customer quotations.
• Order processing.
• Providing basic levels of technical support on Rubix products/services (full training provided).
• Introducing customers to new products/services.
• Providing market-leading levels of customer service.
• Proactively calling down traders and prospect customers to generate additional business.
