Job summary

Rubix is seeking a proactive sales-oriented professional to join our Barnstaple team as part of the Rubix UK&I Sales Offices. You will manage customer relationships, gather requirements, prepare quotations, and process orders while delivering high levels of service.

Training will be provided on Rubix products and services, and you will engage with colleagues in field sales, engineering and supply chain to meet customer needs and keep industry moving.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive 'can-do' attitude and flexibility.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Administrative skills with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Experience in a sales environment is preferred.
• Industry knowledge is preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Initiating, developing, and maintaining customer relationships.
• Establishing customer requirements.
• Preparing, submitting, and following up customer quotations.
• Order processing.
• Providing basic levels of technical support on Rubix products/services.
• Introducing customers to new products/services.
• Providing market leading levels of customer service.
• Proactively calling traders and prospect customers to generate additional business.
