Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is representing a leading distributor of industrial products, seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join the Inverness branch. The role focuses on supporting customers, generating sales opportunities and driving branch performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle quotations, respond to inquiries, build relationships, and process orders while developing your commercial skills. A UK driving licence is desirable and full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or sales support experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, enthusiastic attitude with strong relationship-building skills.
• Good organisation with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Competent IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit quotations via email and telephone.
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide product support.
• Proactively follow up quotations and enquiries to maximise sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Track customer orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Process sales orders and maintain accurate customer records.
• Support customer visits and relationship-building activities as required.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
• Contribute to overall branch growth and success.
