Job summary

Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd is recruiting for an Internal Sales position for a distribution company in Cannock. This role combines new business development with nurturing existing customers, via a phone-based approach to secure orders.

The salary range is £28,000 to £33,000 with an annual company bonus. The role is office-based with standard hours, Monday to Thursday 8:30am–5pm and Friday 8:30am–4pm.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience required.
• Experience with outbound calls and lead generation.
• Ability to manage and grow an existing customer portfolio.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups.
• Lead generation and qualification of prospects to convert into sales.
• Develop and grow an assigned portfolio of existing customers.
• Qualify inbound enquiries and convert them into sales opportunities.
• Provide quotations and chase them until the order is placed.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge, pricing, market trends and competitors.
• Call dormant or lapsed customers to re-engage.

This role is a mix of new business development and existing business so if you love being on the phone, engaging with customers and securing orders then this is the role for you !!

Salary - £28,000 to £33,000 with annual company bonus

Hours - Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm and Friday 8:30am to 4pm (office based role)

Daily duties include:

• Proactively generate new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups.
• Lead generating

• Provide quotations , chase all quotations, until the order is placed
• Keep up to date with product knowledge, pricing, market trends and good understanding of our competitors
• Call dormant/lapsed customers to re-engage.
