Job summary

HSB Technical Ltd is hiring an Internal Sales Manager in Northampton responsible for leading the Internal Sales team, driving performance, and nurturing key customer relationships. You will work closely with senior management to maximise sales opportunities and streamline departmental processes.

The role requires substantial sales leadership experience, strong CRM/ERP skills (Microsoft Dynamics) and excellent communication with a focus on targets and coaching.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in Internal Sales or sales management.
• Proven track record of leading a sales team and delivering targets.
• Strong customer relationship management and service skills.
• Experience using CRM/ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Excellent communication, coaching and people management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and produce reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running and performance of the Internal Sales department.
• Monitor sales performance against budgets and targets.
• Provide leadership, coaching and support to the sales team.
• Ensure quotations and opportunities are followed up and maximised.
• Collaborate with Commercial Director to manage accounts and workloads.
• Develop strong relationships with existing customers and maintain high service levels.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and efficiency.
• Produce regular sales reports and maintain CRM data accuracy.
• Set objectives and monitor team performance; conduct reviews and coaching.
• Assist with recruitment, induction and training of new staff.
