Job summary

Chandlers Ltd, a well-established electrical distributor in Chandler's Ford, is seeking an Internal Sales Executive. The role blends business development with account management, delivering pre- and post-sales support to customers in the electrical sector.

You will manage existing accounts, pursue new opportunities, provide product advice, and collaborate with sales, procurement and marketing to tailor solutions. A proactive, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Background in the electrical industry and electrical distribution.

Due to ambitious growth and expansion, an exciting opportunity has become available for a hungry Internal Sales Executive to join a well-established electrical distributor based in Chandler's Ford. The Internal Sales Executive will join a fast-paced and ambitious business, providing exceptional pre and post-sales support to customers within the electrical sector. This role combines business development with account management, with the aim of driving business growth and strengthening customer relationships.,

• Develop and manage a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base.
• Provide sales support and expert advice on electrical product specifications and applications.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing product-related enquiries.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain a proactive approach, ensuring KPIs are met and customer queries are handled efficiently. Candidates must have a background in the electrical industry, ideally with experience in electrical distribution, and possess a good understanding of electrical products and their applications., Previous internal sales, business development, or account management experience.
• A strong electrical background, with knowledge of electrical products and ideally experience working for an electrical wholesaler or distributor.
• Robust sales and negotiation skills, with a drive to close deals and generate business.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Well-structured and organised, able to prioritise work and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and relevant sales tools.
• A proactive team player with a positive attitude and a polite, friendly manner.
• The Internal Sales Executive role is an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 05:00 pm.

Our client offers an annual salary of up to £40K, depending on experience, plus a profit share bonus, healthcare cover and increased annual holiday entitlement with length of service.
