Job summary

Confidential, Eastleigh-based electrical distributor, is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to drive pre and post-sales support, manage accounts and pursue new business opportunities. The role combines account management with business development and requires a solid electrical product understanding.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 05:00 pm, with an annual salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

Previous internal sales, business development, or account management experience.
A strong electrical background, with knowledge of electrical products.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and relevant sales tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base.
Provide sales support and expert advice on electrical product specifications and applications.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing product-related enquiries.
Collaborate with sales, procurement, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Maintain a proactive approach, ensuring KPIs are met and customer queries are handled efficiently.
