LBS Builders Merchants Ltd in Ystradgynlais is seeking an Internal Sales Assistant to support the Branch Manager, drive sales, manage stock, and deliver excellent customer service.

You will handle quotations, advise customers, maintain stock levels and help grow the branch's customer base while staying aware of local market trends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar sales or customer service role, ideally in a builder's merchants or trade environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Organised, reliable and committed to delivering results.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive attitude to identify sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

Internal Sales Assistant

Location: Ystradgynlais

As an Internal Sales Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the Branch Manager to ensure the efficient, profitable, and customer-focused running of the branch. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in sales, stock control, customer service, and helping grow our customer base.

Hours of work:An average of 40.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7.30am - 4.30pm, plus every other Saturday morning from 8.00am until 12.00pm.
