Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is seeking an organised Internal Sales Administrator to join the team in Tewkesbury. You will support the Account Management function by ensuring orders are processed accurately from receipt to delivery.

The role offers a 30,000 salary plus benefits, with Monday to Friday, office-based hours and a clear progression path into Account Management within a growing engineering business.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sales Administration or Order Processing within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Familiarity with CRM/ERP/MRP systems and data entry accuracy.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail with cross-department collaboration.
• Ambition to develop towards Account Management.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate customer orders accurately from receipt to delivery.
• Maintain order information in Salesforce CRM and internal systems.
• Ensure all teams have up-to-date order information across Sales, Supply Chain and Production.
• Support Account Managers with queries and customer administration.
• Produce regular order status reports and track milestones.
• Identify pricing discrepancies, stock shortages, lead-time concerns and delivery risks.
• Maintain audit trails and order records.
• Support quotation administration and general commercial activities.
