Job summary

This Gloucestershire-based manufacturer is seeking an Internal Sales Administrator to support its Account Management function. You will handle order processing, data entry and CRM/ERP updates to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

The role is fully office-based, with high-volume order activity and progression opportunities for the right candidate. Strong Excel and data accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales administration or order processing in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Experience using a CRM, ERP or MRP system for order processing (Epicor welcome).
• High level of accuracy and data entry speed for large order volumes.
• Good Excel skills (intermediate level or above).
• Confident communicator, liaising with Account Managers and Supply Chain teams.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming customer orders accurately onto internal systems with correct terms.
• Enter and maintain sales order data on ERP/CRM environments as rolled out.
• Ensure visibility for Supply Chain and Production for material requirements.
• Support Account Managers with order status queries and handovers from quotation to fulfilment.
• Maintain auditable records of orders, amendments and cancellations.
• Identify discrepancies (pricing, stock, delivery risk) and escalate as needed.
• Generate regular order status and admin reports for Sales and Operations.
