Job summary

UBT is seeking an Internal Sales & Account Manager in Sittingbourne/Maidstone to act as the first point of contact for customers and to drive new business while nurturing existing accounts.

You will manage quotations, follow up opportunities, and build lasting relationships with customers, supported by a collaborative team and modern offices. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a generous salary and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, internal sales, or account management
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Confident communicator with strong telephone skills
• Commercial mindset with target-driven approach
• Experience identifying sales opportunities with customers
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries by phone, email, and online channels
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Follow up quotations to secure orders and maximise conversions
• Contact existing, dormant, and lapsed accounts to identify opportunities and drive revenue
• Engage with customers to deliver a consistently high standard of service
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across product ranges
• Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and purchasing to ensure smooth service
