Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants seeks an Internal Account Manager to join a Kent-based distributor in Sittingbourne. The role focuses on building lasting customer relationships, uncovering opportunities, and driving sales from a busy sales team.

Office-based, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a quarterly bonus opportunity and ongoing training. Ideal for someone with sales or customer service experience aiming to progress in account management and business development.

Competenze

• Previous sales, account management or business development experience.
• Strong customer service background with a sales mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident and professional telephone manner.
• Well organised with attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and online channels.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Proactively contact existing and lapsed customers to generate sales opportunities.
• Promote products, services, offers and new product lines.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in the CRM system.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Support field-based sales colleagues with account development activities.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the journey.
