Job summary

Rhodium Consulting is seeking an Internal Sales professional for their branch in the Pinner area of London. The role focuses on delivering high levels of customer service, generating sales, and developing new business while handling quotations and stock control.

The successful candidate will have internal sales experience in electrical wholesale, be computer literate, and possess strong negotiation and customer service skills. Driving licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Promote the branch and provide excellent customer service, including answering phones and handling queries.
• Maximise sales by processing orders accurately and efficiently.
• Develop turnover and profit through existing and new business opportunities.
• Call on regular spending accounts, activate dormant accounts and pursue new customers.
• Develop strong product knowledge and assist customers on the trade counter.
• Prepare quotations and manage stock control and pricing.
• Prepare orders for delivery and ensure accurate labeling and storage.
• Deliver consistent customer service and work collaboratively with the team.

The Role:

• To contribute to the success of the branch and promote the companies name by providing excellent levels of customer service.
• Maximise sales by providing high levels of customer service in all areas including answering phones promptly, handling queries and orders efficiently and accurately.
• To increase the turnover and profit of the branch through the development of both existing and new business.
• Calling on regular spending accounts, re-contacting and activating dormant accounts and cold calling potential new customers.
• Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
• Assist customers on the trade counter.
• Preparing quotations.
• Stock control
• Pricing stock accurately, storing, and labelling goods in the stores.
• Preparing orders for delivery
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• To work as part of a team and help where required.

Requirements:

• Internal sales experience within the electrical wholesale industry essential
• Computer literate.
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
• Team player.
• Driving license would be very beneficial
