Job summary

Aspion Search is seeking an Internal Sales Executive in Plymouth to manage and grow relationships with existing customers within the metals sector. The role involves handling sales enquiries, providing accurate quotations, and identifying new business opportunities to maximise turnover.

You will work closely with internal teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently, maintain customer data, and stay informed of market pricing and competitor activity.

Qualifications

• Previous sales and account management experience.
• Confidence communicating with customers by telephone and email.
• Commercially aware with strong customer service and sales focus.
• Proactive, resilient and target-driven approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing customers.
• Identify new business opportunities.
• Handle sales enquiries and provide accurate, competitive quotations.
• Increase sales across existing accounts.
• Proactively follow up quotations and enquiries to maximise conversion.
• Understand customer requirements and provide suitable products/solutions.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure orders are processed and delivered as required.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the system.
• Keep up to date with market conditions, pricing and competitor activity.
