As an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design lifecycle, working alongside Senior and Principal Engineers.
Work on detailed design and calculation of HVAC, public health, and mechanical services for prestigious commercial and mixed–use projects.
Produce technical reports, specifications, and system schematics from concept (RIBA Stage 2) through to construction documentation (RIBA Stage 4/5).
Utilise industry–standard software (e.g., Hevacomp, IES, Revit) to deliver energy–efficient and low–carbon solutions.
Engage directly with clients and external project teams (architects, structural engineers) on design strategy and coordination.
A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering within a UK–based Building Services consultancy.
Design experience within the Commercial and Mixed–Use sectors.
Proficiency in Revit MEP for model authoring and coordination is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of UK building regulations and sustainability standards (Part L, BREEAM, WELL).
A relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
