Job summary

Mulberry Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager for a client in Manchester. You will promote and provide expert knowledge on products, lending criteria and technical IT support to intermediaries, developing relationships and acting as a main point of contact for new business.

In this hybrid role in Manchester, you will work with a regional broker panel, achieve targets, and maintain CRM records while staying compliant with regulatory guidelines and collaborating with other

Qualifications

Proven sales experience in a face-to-face or telephone-based environment.
Previous experience in Mortgage or Financial Services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Enthusiastic and keen to learn and build a career in Financial Services.

Responsibilities

Set up and enact telephone contact strategy with regional panel of brokers to develop relationships with them.
Achieve set targets through development of new and existing intermediary relationships.
Use CRM to maintain up-to-date records of contact with intermediaries.
Provide technical expertise on products and underwriting criteria to intermediaries and support portal issues.
Work collaboratively with all areas of the business.
Keep knowledge up to date on company products and procedures.
Understand and monitor competitor products.
Act in a compliant manner in line with regulatory guidelines.
Support team members to meet service standards and achieve results.
