A leading organisation in the Greater Manchester area is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll processing within a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on Workday payroll expertise and strong technical payroll knowledge, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role demands leadership, collaboration with HR and Finance, and a proactive approach to drive continuous improvement in payroll operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating at Payroll Manager level.
  • Must have hands-on Workday payroll experience (not just end-user).
  • Comfortable working in a lean team with a hands-on approach.

  • Act as the Workday payroll subject matter expert across the business.
