SF Partners are recruiting an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a growing international manufacturing business in Lutterworth/South Leicestershire. The role is a temporary, on-site position with 5 days per week and potential hybrid.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead the finance function, oversee reporting, budgeting, controls and tax compliance, and support senior stakeholders across the UK and international group. Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA is required.

• Deputise for the Finance Director on ad-hoc projects.

Interim Financial Controller

Working Pattern: 5 days office-based

SF Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a growing international manufacturing business based in Lutterworth/South Leicestershire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to join the business during a period of growth and change, providing strong financial leadership, stability and support to the wider finance function.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, lead an established finance team and work closely with senior stakeholders across the UK and wider international group.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
• Manage financial reporting requirements into international Group HQ
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Oversee cash flow, working capital and liquidity management
• Manage statutory reporting, year-end audit and tax compliance
• Ensure robust financial controls and processes are maintained
• Provide cost analysis and commercial insight to support business performance
• Lead, manage and support the finance team
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, systems and processes
• Support the Finance Director with ad-hoc projects and deputise when required

The Successful Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller or Finance Manager who can quickly get up to speed and make an immediate impact.

You will ideally be:

• Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical accounting experience
• Experienced in managing a finance function and leading a team
• Confident across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls
• Comfortable working within an international or group reporting environment
• Hands-on, proactive and able to operate independently
• Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills
• Experienced within manufacturing or construction environments (advantageous but not essential)
• Immediately available or available at short notice

This is a broad interim assignment requiring someone who can hit the ground running, provide stability across the finance function and support the Finance Director with both operational and commercial finance requirements.

The role is based in Lutterworth and requires 5 days per week on-site with the opportunity for hybrid.
