Job summary

SF Partners is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to lead the finance function at their site in Lutterworth, South Leicestershire. This temporary, hands-on role reports to the Finance Director and requires a fully qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills.

You will oversee monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and work with senior stakeholders across the UK and international group.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical accounting experience.
• Experienced in managing a finance function and leading a team.
• Confident across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls.
• Comfortable working within an international or group reporting environment.
• Hands-on, proactive and able to operate independently.
• Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital and liquidity management.
• Manage statutory reporting, year-end audit and tax compliance.
• Ensure robust financial controls and processes are maintained.
• Provide cost analysis and commercial insight to support business performance.
• Lead, manage and support the finance team.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, systems and processes.
• Support the Finance Director with ad-hoc projects and deputise when required.

Interim Financial Controller

Working Pattern: 5 days office-based

SF Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a growing international manufacturing business based in Lutterworth/South Leicestershire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to join the business during a period of growth and change, providing strong financial leadership, stability and support to the wider finance function.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, lead an established finance team and work closely with senior stakeholders across the UK and wider international group.

The Successful Candidate:

We are looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller or Finance Manager who can quickly get up to speed and make an immediate impact.

• Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical accounting experience
• Experienced in managing a finance function and leading a team
• Confident across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls
• Comfortable working within an international or group reporting environment
• Hands-on, proactive and able to operate independently
• Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills
• Experienced within manufacturing or construction environments (advantageous but not essential)
• Immediately available or available at short notice

The role is based in Lutterworth and requires 5 days per week on-site with the opportunity for hybrid.
