Domus Recruitment is assisting a Kent-based provider to recruit a Deputy Manager for an interim period of 3–6 months, with potential to go permanent. The role supports Young Adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs, delivering high-quality, person-centred care and leadership to the service teams.

You will oversee supervision, implement review-ready support plans, manage staffing rotas and budgets, and work with the Service Manager to drive quality and safety across shifts,

Formación

• NVQ Level 3 in Social Care Management or equivalent.
• Experience supervising and motivating staff.
• Clear written and verbal communication style.
• IT literate and confident with different IT systems.
• Willing to undertake required training, sometimes off site.
• Willing and able to travel between locations as required.
• Available for flexible working patterns including evenings and weekends.
• Able to undertake on‑call duties on a rota.
• Driver with access to a vehicle to travel between services.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and guidance to the teams, observe and feedback on practice to improve quality and person‑centred approaches.
• Undertake regular supervision meetings with staff and facilitate team meetings.
• Ensure support plans are current and staff are aware of reviews and implementation.
• Manage performance issues with guidance from Service Manager/HR.
• Manage staffing resources including rota management and staff budgets.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.
