Job summary

Domus Recruitment are partnering with an established provider to appoint an Interim Service Manager to support a learning disabilities service. You will provide visible leadership, ensure safe, person-centred care and drive improvements while maintaining high standards of quality and safeguarding.

The role requires experience in managing CQC-regulated adult social care services and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).

Qualifications

• Experience managing a CQC-regulated adult social care service.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities within supported living.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or willingness to work towards this.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong, visible leadership and support the team during the Registered Manager's absence.
• Maintain safe, person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes.
• Ensure the service continues to meet CQC, regulatory and internal quality, compliance and safeguarding standards.
• Monitor service delivery, identify any emerging risks and implement appropriate actions to address them.
• Build positive relationships with the people supported, families, staff and external professionals.
• Provide updates to senior management on progress, any outstanding actions and areas requiring further support.
