Domus Recruitment is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager in Kent to lead a supported living service on an interim basis (3–6 months) with potential to become permanent. The role focuses on quality, supervision, and person-centered approaches for Young Adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 in Social Care Management or equivalent, strong supervision skills, IT proficiency, and a willingness to travel between locations.

Qualificações

• Experience of supporting vulnerable people.
• NVQ Level 3 in Social Care Management or equivalent.
• Experience supervising and motivating staff.
• Clear written and verbal communication style.
• IT literate and confident with IT systems/packages.
• Willing to undertake required training, sometimes off site and outside normal working hours.
• Willing and able to travel between locations as required.
• Flexible working patterns including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and nights as required.
• Able to undertake on-call duties on a rota basis.
• Driver to enable travel between services.

Responsabilidades

• Providing leadership and guidance to teams, observe and feedback on practice to improve quality, positive behavioural support and person-centred approaches.
• Undertake regular supervision meetings with staff & facilitate team meetings.
• Ensure support plans are current and staff are aware of the review and implementation of individual support plans.
• Manage performance issues engaging appropriate informal/formal processes with guidance from Service Manager/HR.
• Manage staffing resources including rota management and staff budgets.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.

Deputy Manager Responsibilities:
