Job summary

Reed is seeking a Commercial & Contracts Manager in Sittingbourne to drive commercial performance, manage contract governance and maximise revenue across client and supplier relationships. This contractor role covers tender submissions, compliance and documentation control, with responsibility to develop strategies that sustain growth.

The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a track record in contract management, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and risk

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
• Experience managing contracts in a commercial environment.
• Experience completing PQQs, tenders, framework submissions and bid responses.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and audit processes.
• Attention to detail and strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to maximise revenue and contract profitability.
• Lead commercial negotiations with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Review and manage contractual terms to minimise risk and maximise commercial outcomes.
• Prepare, review, and submit PQQs, tenders, RFQs, and bid documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, variations, renewals, and commercial agreements.
• Develop client relationships to support contract retention and business development activities.
• Manage document control systems and ensure documentation meets required standards.
• Support audits and maintain ISO management systems and compliance processes.
