Job summary

Reed is recruiting an Operations/Commercial Executive in Hertfordshire to support multiple construction projects across procurement, commercial administration, compliance and project coordination in a fast-paced environment.

You will monitor costs, manage supplier relations, raise purchase orders, and maintain documentation to help ensure on-time delivery and budget control while upholding health and safety standards. Strong communication and organisation are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Operations, Commercial, procurement or project support.
• Experience in construction, design and build, fit-out or related industry.
• Strong commercial awareness with understanding of project costs and financial controls.
• Procurement experience including supplier sourcing, quotations and PO management.
• Experience supporting project delivery and documentation control.
• Knowledge of compliance, health and safety, and project documentation.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial reporting, cost tracking and general project administration across multiple live projects.
• Coordinate procurement from quotations to purchase orders and delivery tracking.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor lead times, deliveries and schedules to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Maintain compliance, quality and health and safety documentation.
• Assist with project reporting, planning and document control.
