Job summary

Bernicia Group in Gateshead is recruiting an Intensive Housing Management Worker to deliver tenancy sustainment and risk management at St Bedes House. You will work with single homeless and couples to support move-in and move-on to permanent accommodation, carrying out property checks and liaising with partner agencies.

The role requires safeguarding knowledge, excellent communication, and strong IT skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing-related support services.
• Experience delivering intensive housing management.
• Safeguarding practice experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intensive housing management to sustain tenancies.
• Monitor tenancy risks and ensure occupancy agreements are understood.
• Liaise with partner agencies to support tenancy sustainment.
• Carry out regular property checks.
• Support clients from move-in to move-on to permanent accommodation.
