Job summary

HHS Group is seeking an experienced Intensive Housing Management Officer to provide temporary cover at a supported housing project in Wigan. The role focuses on safeguarding residents, managing tenancy obligations, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

The position is initially 3 months with potential extension. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, supporting individuals with complex needs and liaising with management and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tenancy management and housing legislation.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs.
• Training in trauma-informed care, mental health awareness or conflict management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day intensive housing management services to residents.
• Support residents in maintaining their accommodation and meeting tenancy obligations.
• Conduct welfare checks and respond appropriately to residents' needs.
• Manage housing-related concerns, including antisocial behaviour and tenancy issues.
• Identify, record and expedite safeguarding concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily records, reports and documentation.
• Liaise with management, support workers and external agencies.
• Promote a safe, respectful and positive living environment.
• Respond professionally to challenging situations and incidents.

About the Role

HHS Group is recruiting an experienced and reliable Intensive Housing Management Officer to provide temporary cover at a supported housing project in Wigan.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting vulnerable residents, managing housing-related matters and ensuring the accommodation remains a safe, secure and supportive environment.

We are looking for someone who is approachable, professional and confident working with individuals who may have complex support needs.
