Job summary

HHS Group is seeking an experienced Intensive Housing Management Officer to provide temporary cover at a supported housing project in Wigan. The role focuses on safeguarding residents, managing tenancy obligations, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

The position is initially 3 months with potential extension. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, supporting individuals with complex needs and liaising with management and external agencies.

Qualifications

Knowledge of tenancy management and housing legislation.
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs.
Training in trauma-informed care, mental health awareness or conflict management.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day intensive housing management services to residents.
Support residents in maintaining their accommodation and meeting tenancy obligations.
Conduct welfare checks and respond appropriately to residents' needs.
Manage housing-related concerns, including antisocial behaviour and tenancy issues.
Identify, record and expedite safeguarding concerns.
Maintain accurate daily records, reports and documentation.
Liaise with management, support workers and external agencies.
Promote a safe, respectful and positive living environment.
Respond professionally to challenging situations and incidents.
