Job summary

Leicestershire County Council currently seeks an Integrated Lifestyles Advisor to support adults via phone from County Hall, Leicester. You will assess needs, coordinate access to housing, health services, and community resources, and ensure timely, accurate case recording.

Training will cover both First Contact Plus and Crisis and Resilience Fund teams. The role emphasizes empathy, safeguarding, and collaborative working to improve outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Hold NVQ2 in Business Administration or equivalent
• Experience liaising with customers via multiple methods
• Experience in a customer-facing role delivering excellent customer care
• Experience of accurately capturing, storing and retrieving information
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including active listening

Responsibilities

• Talk to adults supported through the Crisis and Resilience Fund via phone
• Record information accurately and follow clear processes
• Help people access housing, health services or community organisations
• Follow safeguarding procedures and pass cases to the appropriate team
• Track cases and share best practices to improve the service
