Job summary
Version 1 is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Director to accelerate growth in the Insurance sector across Life & Pensions, Broker, and General Insurance in the UK. The role requires building executive relationships and leading go-to-market strategies with insurers, reinsurers and brokers.
The ideal candidate will have deep regulatory knowledge and a track record of selling consulting or managed services to insurers, with exposure to AI/data-driven transformation and cloud
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of the UK/IE insurance landscape and regulatory environment.
- Proven track record in business development or sales in Insurance services.
- Experience with Life & Pensions, Brokers and General Insurance in UK/IE.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic accounts and pipeline across Life, Pensions, Broker and General Insurance.
- Lead GTM, craft value propositions with insurance domain SMEs.
- Run workshops, bids, and presentations on AI-led automation and data modernization.
- Engage CIOs, COOs and Chief Underwriters to build executive relationships.
- Monitor regulatory/tax changes and identify whitespace opportunities.
