Job summary

Version 1 in London is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Director to accelerate growth across the Insurance sector, focusing on Life & Pensions, Broker and General Insurance segments. This role will build executive relationships and lead go-to-market strategies in the UK.

The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge of insurance value chains, data-driven capabilities, and a track record selling consulting, transformation or managed services to insurers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Insurance or Technology.
• Proven BD experience in UK Insurance services.
• Experience with AI/ML use cases in underwriting, claims or fraud is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic account & pipeline development across Life & Pensions, Broker and General Insurance.
• Identify, qualify and target insurance accounts in the UK/Ireland.
• Lead workshops, bids and presentations focused on AI-led automation and data modernization.
• Develop pursuit plans and account strategies aligned to policy administration and distribution modernization.
• Collaborate with solution architects and domain SMEs to craft tailored value propositions.
