Job summary

Fitch Group is seeking a Data Operations – Associate Director (Insurance) based out of our London office. The role focuses on centralising collection of fundamental data for Fitch Group, ensuring data quality for Insurance financials, and guiding cross-functional teams to meet stakeholder needs.

You will lead data stewardship, define collection methodologies, mentor staff, and drive AI/ML adoption to improve data workflows and decisioning.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with Insurance financial data, in a financial institution, accountancy, auditing, counterparty credit risk environment.
• Ability to work independently, while also being a strong leader who can inspire others.
• A CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CFA qualification would be preferred.
• Self-starter who can pick up new processes quickly and accurately.
• Can-do attitude to problems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the collection of fundamental data across Fitch Group and assure data quality across stakeholders.
• Define collection methodologies to meet current and future needs of analysts and product workflows.
• Lead data stewardship and documentation of standardised terms.
• Provide training and support to offshore teams and manage data quality expectations.
• Create key management reporting monthly and present results quarterly.
