Fitch Group in London is seeking a Data Operations - Associate Director (Insurance) to oversee the collection of fundamental data across Fitch Group, partnering with data, analytics, and product teams to ensure high-quality data for ratings and solutions.

The role will shape data collection methodology, drive standardised templates, and mentor staff while exploring AI/ML techniques to improve workflows and decisioning. A background in Insurance data and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Insurance financial data in financial institutions.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Strong data quality and governance skills.
• Familiarity with AI/ML in data workflows.
• Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the collection of fundamental data across Fitch Group and ensure data quality for stakeholders.
• Centralise, streamline and accelerate data capture; define collection methodology.
• Document standardised data definitions and Collibra-related governance.
• Mentor staff and train outsource teams to maintain high data quality.
• Lead monthly management reporting and quarterly stakeholder presentations.
• Explore and adopt AI/ML techniques to improve data workflows and decisioning.
