Job summary

Fitch Group, based in Glasgow, seeks a Data Operations – Associate Director (Insurance) to oversee data collection and ensure high-quality insurance financial data for stakeholders across Fitch’s global teams.

The role offers exposure to AI/ML techniques, leadership of data operations, and collaboration with Ratings, Solutions, and product owners. Hybrid work in the Glasgow office is available.

Qualifications

• Experience with Insurance financial data in a financial institution or related field.
• Ability to lead teams and mentor staff while delivering data solutions across domains.
• Familiarity with data governance, quality controls and data templates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure highest levels of data quality for Insurance financials and validate data inputs.
• Define collection methodology and drive standardised data templates across units.
• Lead data stewardship and document methodologies in Collibra.
• Mentor and train junior staff and offshore teams on data capture processes.
• Collaborate with analytics teams and product owners to align data work with business needs.
• Present monthly management reporting and support quarterly stakeholder reviews.
