Job summary

Fitch Group is seeking a Data Operations – Associate Director (Insurance) based in Glasgow to lead data collection and governance across Fitch Group. You will ensure high data quality for insurance financials and collaborate with Ratings and Solutions teams to meet stakeholder needs.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, defining standardized data terms, and applying AI/ML techniques to drive measurable improvements in data workflows and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with Insurance financial data and IFRS/GAAP principles.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams across locations.
• Understanding of data collection methodologies and governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee collection of fundamental data across Fitch Group.
• Define data collection methodologies to meet analysts’ needs.
• Lead data stewardship and documentation of standard terms.
• Mentor and train junior staff and outsource teams.
• Prepare monthly management reports and present to stakeholders.
• Explore and adopt AI/ML techniques to improve data workflows.
