Job summary

Fitch Group is seeking a Data Operations - Associate Director (Insurance) in Manchester to lead the collection and quality of essential insurance data across the organisation. You will work with cross-functional teams to define collection methods and ensure data aligns with stakeholder needs and product workflows.

You will mentor staff, train outsource teams, and drive standardisation through Collibra. Experience with IFRS/GAAP is preferred, and familiarity with AI/ML tools will help advance

Qualifications

• Experience with Insurance financial data in financial institutions or related fields.
• Strong leadership and ability to inspire a team in a data operations context.
• A self-starter with quick adoption of new processes and tools.
• Understanding of IFRS, GAAP and broader accounting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee collection of fundamental data across Fitch Group for stakeholders.
• Define collection methodology to meet current and future needs.
• Lead data stewardship and documentation in Collibra.
• Mentor staff and provide training to outsource teams.
• Create monthly management reporting and present to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and adopt AI/ML techniques to improve data workflows.
