Insurance Credit Controller – Outbound & KPI Focus

Job summary

PIB Group is seeking a Credit Controller to join its busy team based in Retford. You will be responsible for collecting due and overdue monies on client insurance policies, including outbound calls where required to progress payments.

The role requires strong communication, numeracy and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to query management. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely debt resolution and adherence to KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Previous Credit Control experience essential.
• Experience in making outbound calls.
• Understanding of P&L and the impact on overdue debt.
• Understanding of business operations and key teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proactive query management.
• Be able to work to strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of multiple systems including Acturis, Websure, Applied Epic, TAM.
• Proven record of working to and achieving agreed KPI’s.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a seamless handover from the QX team, where voice activity is required to continue the credit control process.
• Management of own workload effectively prioritising to achieve agreed KPI’s and quality standards.
• Support and work with other members of the extended IBA team to achieve departmental objectives
• Responsible for fully investigating and resolving queries linked to debt in a timely and accurate manner
• Work with key internal and external partners to achieve a positive outcome
• Participate in debt meetings with internal and external key stakeholders
• Participate in ad hoc tasks and projects as required
• Proactively identify and support continuous improvement opportunities
• Support audit and other information requests as required
