Job summary

PIB Group is seeking a Credit Controller to join its busy Retford team, handling the collection of due and overdue monies across client insurance policies. Voice activity is used to progress debt recovery where needed, safeguarding client funds under regulatory standards.

You will manage your workload to meet KPI targets, collaborate with the IBA team and external partners, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining compliance with relevant controls and policies.

Qualifications

• Previous Credit Control Experience essential.
• Experience in making outbound calls.
• Understanding of P&L and impact on overdue debt.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive query management.
• Be able to work to strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of Acturis, Websure, Applied Epic, TAM.
• Proven record of achieving KPI’s.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless handover from QX team where voice activity continues the credit control process.
• Manage own workload effectively to achieve KPI’s and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other IBA team members to reach departmental objectives.
• Investigate and resolve debt queries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work with internal and external partners to achieve positive outcomes.
• Participate in debt meetings with stakeholders.
• Take on ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
• Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities.
• Assist with audits and information requests as required.
