Job summary

Howden Bournemouth is offering a permanent, office-based apprenticeship in Personal Lines. Start with a structured induction, then join a high-performing sales team and complete an 18-month development programme to build insurance knowledge and client-service skills.

No insurance experience is required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know. You’ll learn to build relationships, handle inquiries and contribute to sales outcomes while progressing toward professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• No prior insurance experience required; training provided.
• Final year or recent school leaver eligible.
• Clear communication with a wide range of people, including over the phone.
• Numerical literacy and ability to handle basic data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Join Personal Lines and support experienced colleagues.
• Learn foundations of insurance, customer service and sales through training.
• Help identify insurance solutions for clients.
• Assist in achieving sales goals and supporting renewals.
• Prepare professional client correspondence and maintain accurate records.
• Develop long-term client relationships and provide excellent service.
