Job summary

Howden Group Services Limited is offering an Insurance Apprenticeship Programme in Manchester starting September 2027. You will join a permanent role and complete an 18‑month development programme, working in the office at least four days per week and living within commutable distance.

You’ll learn foundations of commercial insurance, draft client emails, and build relationships with clients and insurers while progressing through a Level 3 Insurance apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the UK with no restrictive conditions.
• UK resident for the last 3 years.
• GCSE English and Maths: grade C/4 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Learn foundations of commercial insurance and how an Account Handler supports clients.
• Draft clear, professional emails to clients and insurers.
• Build confidence speaking with clients and insurers via phone and email.
• Help gather information to manage policies and client requests.
• Support maintaining accurate client records and relations.
