Howden Group is recruiting for its Insurance Apprenticeship Programme 2027 in Bournemouth. This fully office-based role starts in September 2027 and offers a permanent position from day one while completing an 18-month development programme.

You’ll join the Personal Lines team, receive structured training, and work toward professional qualifications while contributing to customer service and sales goals.

Qualifikationen

• Final year or recent school leaver.
• Confident communicating with a wide range of people (including over the phone).
• Able to handle numbers and manage time/workload effectively.

Aufgaben

• Learn the foundations of insurance, customer service and sales through hands-on experience and structured training.
• Support colleagues in finding suitable insurance solutions for new and existing clients.
• Play an active role in achieving sales goals by securing new business opportunities and supporting client renewals.
• Develop written communication skills by preparing professional client correspondence.
• Build confidence speaking with clients and insurers via email and phone calls.
• Learn how to maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
• Learn how amendments to policies are managed and how renewals operate.
