Job summary

Davies is seeking a Financial Services Coach to guide and develop a cohort of apprentices, ensuring progress aligns with quality standards and KPIs. You will provide tailored support throughout each apprentice’s journey, helping them achieve milestones and qualifications outlined to the apprenticeship standard.

You will build strong relationships with line managers and employer stakeholders to support development and performance expectations.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Insurance (CII) is essential.
• Experience in coaching, tutoring or training in insurance industry advantageous.
• Capability to manage, coach and develop apprentices effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial skills assessments to tailor learning journeys.
• Deliver induction presentations and onboarding administration.
• Facilitate monthly progress meetings with apprentices, in workplace and remotely.
• Lead group training sessions aligned with curriculum and Ofsted requirements.
• Respond to apprentices’ remote queries and provide guidance.
• Track progress and assess milestones throughout the programme.
• Contribute to improvement projects to enhance delivery and learner experience.
• Maintain accurate documentation evidencing learner progress.
• Contextualise learning outcomes to the apprentice’s role.
• Guide apprentices in linking work-based experiences to the standard.
• Set activities to develop competencies aligned with the framework.
• Coach on portfolio evidence for End Point Assessment.
• Support apprentices toward qualifications and EPA readiness.
• Escalate progress or engagement concerns to line manager.
• Collaborate with apprentices and line managers to meet goals and end dates.
• Provide coaching for EPA preparation.
• Participate in development and standardisation meetings.
